Wilsons’ Annual Charity Legacy Officer’s seminar is usually a day of presentations. But this year we helped create a big surprise for their clients as the day was in the form of a play involving the estate of late Mrs Martin who’s will states everything should be left to SPOOF (Society for the Protection of Organic Farms) with scenes acted out by local, professional actors. To dress the day and set the scene we created all collateral and merchandise with invitations designed as theatre tickets, agendas as programmes and all signage in ‘classic theatre style’ along with branded folding binoculars and bags of sweets as give-aways. eMarketing pre and post event was also conducted.
“Feedback from delegates has been overwhelmingly positive, they loved the new approach. The binoculars went down a storm and the label on the sweets made everyone chuckle. In particular, the programme looked very smart when laid out on the chairs with our delegate packs – in comparison to what we did last year it really looked like we were in a different league to where we were before.”
“Thank you and your team for your hard work on this, we’re really pleased with the results.”
Louise, Marketing Manager, Wilsons Law.

We were asked to create a brochure that encapsulated sailing from grass roots to the Olympics. The objective was to create awareness of the multiple roles the International Sailing Federation functions.
The brochure featured a fold-out metallic silver cover that revealed their Olympic timeline through the concept of a sailing course. The inner brochure was printed on an uncoated stock to contrast the cover. The spreads used striking action photography with large statements, spot varnished which jumped off the page.
Tamsin Rand, Communications Manager, commented,
“Fathom took a difficult brief and ran with it, creating a stunning and first class brochure”
We were tasked with creating something truly unique for a £10 million beachfront home located in St James, Barbados. The objective was to create awareness and interest amongst multi-millionaires and billionaires alike.
From the name ‘Footprints’ to the hand written message, every detail exuded quality of design and textures. The brochure was presented in a luxurious box with a sunken tray in a sand embossed effect along with a debossed footprint which was only revealed after pulling the black satin ribbon to lift the brochure.
Our concept for the brochure was the view throughout the day from the property from sunrise to sunset as double page spreads. Carefully chosen production and packaging processes were used to highlight the quality of the property. We researched and used the ultimate in stocks and finishing including a soft touch laminate to the book and outer box, and embossings and foil blocking to really set the brochure apart. We also produced internal and external CGI’s for the property.
Alex Sandeman commented,“We wanted to present this property in Barbados as the ultimate in luxury to a very tough market. Fathom not only came up with a stunning design but thought through how the property would be presented with innovation and surprise. They managed the whole production process ensuring very detail was perfect.”
We created a clean, uncomplicated brand solution with a fresh and powerful website that is ecommerce and totally client updateable. Strong photo banners and colour coding helped sign post the vast product portfolio. A members area is currently under construction.
Andy Seddon, MD commented,

This Christmas we sent out festive cards and emails to all our clients inviting them to play our Splash and Carry game. The aim was to help Santa collect all the presents that had fallen from his sleigh; the highest score posted by the deadline would win an iPad Mini.
After a 41% response rate, 6,043 presents collected and 2,423 sprout fish dodged, a late surge in the last few minutes saw one lucky player post a hi-score of 91, winning by just a single point.
A big thank you to all who took part – we hope you had as much fun playing it as we had in creating it.
Until next christmas… you can still play for fun here.
